Dates have now been set for our fantastic summer school 'Back to the 80's'

From the era that brought the world The Rubik's Cube, Max Headroom and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comes this "totally awesome" musical in the style of movies such as Back To The Future, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Karate Kid and The Wedding Singer.

Join the graduating class of William Ocean High School as they live through their final senior year - as they experience the fun, the heartbreak, the loves and the loneliness of growing up.... all set to the biggest hits of the 80's!!

Upstage classes offer a cost effective and unique blend of professional tuition and fun for young people aged 5 to 17, which is down to the impressively high caliber of the teaching staff.  Instructors are highly qualified in their chosen field but more importantly have the enthusiasm to inspire our students.  They have the ability to transfer their knowledge to children in a highly motivating and enjoyable way that strikes a careful balance between teaching a technique while not stifling individual expression.

We run exciting 3 hour weekly sessions of fun, covering one hour each of drama, singing and dance (contemporary, jazz and street styles).  Skills leaned in each area will complement and add to those in another.  To maximise the benefits all classes are grouped in ages and limited to 15 Students per group.

Attending Upstage is a sound basis for those who want to perform professionally but we also have much to offer those wishing to pursue the performing arts as a hobby.  Our informal and friendly approach stimulates and nurtures children's creativity, natural abilities and talents resulting in enhanced social and communication skills, teamwork and confidence.
