As one of the directors of Upstage (UK) Ltd Chris has had a leading role in driving the company to where it is today, and thats one of the longest running and most respected Theatre Schools within the Macclesfield area. Chris has always had a keen interest in dance and drama and trained in performing arts at The University of Salford. Chris’ teaching experience varies from working with youth groups for Cheshire County Council to choreographing dance routines for professional singers. He has also performed professionally at Theatres across Manchester and appeared in TV programmes such as Hollyoaks and New Street law.

| Heather Baker - Singing Coach |
We are privileged to have Heather with us here at Upstage in Macclesfield. Heather is one of only 4 teachers in the UK currently certified to teach Speech Level Singing at Level 3 or beyond. She is also the SLS Education Advisor for the North of England and parts of Europe. Heather began teaching in 2001 and has built up an impressive clientele list since then. Her private clients include gigging musicians, songwriters, television personalities, journalists, signed artists and all sorts of amateur singers. Heather is fantastic with the students what ever their age giving them the confidence needed to sing solo or as part of a group.

Emily has been with Upstage for six years, she trained at London College of Dance. She has worked with several dance initiatives accross the North West and is currently dance development officer for Bolton Council and a tutor and assesor for Dance Leaders UK. She also happens to be the Northwests biggest Britney fan!

| Emma Kennedy - Drama Coach |
Emma has been with Upstage for just over a year now and has made a tremendous impact on the students. Emma is a comedy actress by trade and this definitely comes across during her lessons... you never know what’s going to happen next! Like Chris, Emma also trained in Performing Arts and teaches in and around Salford for MAPAS along with other organisations.
